Reviewed by: sharkeysbar Date: 05/06/2006 Summary: The Robin Hood of China This 1967 film is a real wild west, Robin Hood, good guy and bad guy film and a great one for the genre at that! Set in the 1920s, when warlords and corruption were common, it is a fast paced film with an exciting,though somewhat predictable story line, but I wouldn't want it any other way. The acting is first class, the bumbling bad guys are just that, the hero is heroic at all times and the love interest looks, well just lovely! The time just flies in this film, it has the lot, fighting, 2 weddings (!!), intrigue, double-crosses, comedy pieces, Chinese opera scenes, even a performing magician. This is just a wonderful late 1960s entertaining film, I for one loved it! Hen hao! Reviewer Score: 9
