*** DEATH VALLEY (1968): If it were possible to make a bad swordplay film with Yueh Hua, Lo Wei would probably have managed it. DEATH VALLEY comes close at times, but the cast and action director Han Ying Chieh compensate for Lo Wei's lack of any real skill or style as a director, and the result is a watchable but non-essential piece of 60's wu xia.

The King's Video Trailer makes this one look pretty good.
