General Chow Wu Fong (John Liu) is framed for killing an Official. He finds out that a High Official (Hwang Jang Lee), practitioner of Eagle Style and Invincible Armour Kung Fu, is behind everything. While out on the run trying to find the real killer, General Chow befriends a kid who teaches him Iron Fingers (to combat Invincible Armour). Meanwhile, a noble Constable (Tino Wong) is assigned to capture General Chow and kill him at all costs, but finds out some other news via a special clue. With the clue in hand, the Constable goes back to the High Official's residence to pay him a special visit.

Summary: Also a comedy

Anything in the Wu-Tang collection at Blockbuster earns special attention. I came into this movie expecting a B rated HK film, trying to be more than it should be. I can see how the techniques in the movie, which it goes to great lengths to establish, are real, although they are portrayed in such an unrealistic manner as to make them comical. A few of the fight scenes are indeed memorable, as well as the grand finale at the end, complete with special effets. The 'Invincible Armour' is a technique that leaves only one part of your body vulnerable to attack. A string warrior, who does not allow many hits in, must be tested to find out where they are vulnerable before going all out. It is an interesting idea. The film contains many more serious scenes that I took as more comedy, as apparntly did the Wu-Tang Clan. 5/10.

Summary: Good Stuff!

A somewhat leisurely pace slightly hurts this otherwise well-crafted kung-fu chopper. Once again, Wong Ching Li makes a truly frightening villain, a master of iron skin kung fu. I saw this back-to-back with SNUFF BOTTLE CONNECTION, with much of the same cast and crew, but this is far superior in almost all respects.
