Pretty boring throughout, but it's worth it for seeing probably one of the best car-related stunts ever, plus it's right at the beginning!

Summary: a bunch of crap...

poor hong kong cop film, featuring danny lee as a character you just can't like. a vile model dumps her vile photographer boyfriend, she calls on the vile danny lee for help, he pushes the boyfriend down some stairs (accidentally, but his stupid attitude lands him in trouble). the byfriend goes to get revenge on the girlfriend, he fails, but is caught and given a beating by danny lee's mates and is then sent to a mental asylum. he promptly escapes and sets out to take some more revenge.

there's only three remotely likable characters in the film and two of those are extremely dull, whilst the other is just dull. the film plays itself out, getting a little harder to roll with as the plot advances a little more ridiculously with every turn.

poor and best avoided...

Summary: Average

One of Danny Lee's early police films, and is a shame because this had all the potential to be good, but the poor story simply turns this into one giant blood bath. Cops, criminals, citizens, even children are killed at such a high rates, it's hard to notice very much else going on.

I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone, Danny Lee did plenty of better films like this, including The Law Enforcer, The Killer, and of course City On Fire.
