Life Goes On

Summary: Serious look at life

Unlike all the gangster films that were being released in the 80's, and people dropping like flys, this one is looking at how precious life really is. Kwong Wa plays a firefigther (Warren) who knows the risks and danger he faces everyday, but as he loves his job he is willing to take life one day at a time. But one day after seeing a doctor, he discovers that he has cancer. But he realises he has a better chance of living with cancer than his risk of death in his job. Warren does a lot to keep his family happy and to fight the disease as much as possible.

Like a lot of HK dramas, it is a bit over the top at times, but overall not a bad film. Worth noting too, that Andy Hui makes his first cameo apperance in a movie in this film.
