忠義群英 (1989)
Seven Warriors

Summary: not too shabby

Homage to one of the greatest movies of all time (that would be Akira Kurosawa's SEVEN SAMURAI), Seven Warriors is a pretty average effort, but it made me feel great afterwards. Tony Leung Chiu Wai, as usual, stands out with his updated performance mirroring the great Toshiro Mifune. There's not much action. Sammo Hung does some stuff for under a minute in the beginning, and Adam Cheng goes up against Lo Lieh in swords. Other than that, there's the occasional firearm battle.
