Summary: Enjoyed this one

I really liked this one, at first viewing, I wasn't sure what to think, but later on after thinking about it and seeing it for the second time I enjoyed it alot.
This movie is about a 20 something guy who goes to HK and makes friends with a HK teenager. He becomes something like a big brother to the her. The movie explores the inner feelings of the guy who isn't quite sure what he is searching for, but is very lonely.
I rate this movie: 3.9 out of 5.

Clara Law's most accomplished film. A story of two strangers:Masatoshi Nagase is a 20 something Japanese wanderer with a videocam; Li Pui-Wai a 15 year old HK highschool student whose parents have moved to Canada. He wants good food, so she takes him home to her grandma. Beautifully shot in blue and black tones, with a typically atmospheric Tats Lau score, this film is a sometimes sardonic, sometimes gentle, quietly humorous Haruki Murakami-esque meditation on how not to be defeated by urban alienation.
