It's about people from China who'll do anything to come into the USA so they can live a better life. The highlight of the film however is the bloody fight that Simon Yam and Lau Wing have. The term "going at it like a couple of mad dogs" applies to the fight they have. Recommended just for the last act alone. 7/10

Reviewed by: pablo Date: 12/09/1999 Lung illegally comes to Los Angeles to find his wife Miu, whodisappeared after she came ahead to find a job and prepare for a new life. He and his friend Liu get into hot water after Liu's rival turns up dead, and Lung is forced into hiding. Conan Lee is the inspector on the case. The story doesn't hold together very well because of poor execution. Aside from Lai Yin San, who puts in a fun performance mildly reminiscent of Anita Yuen Wing Yee, the acting ranges from mediocre (Simon) to downright bad (Conan). Filmed in Pasadena and Los Angeles.
