Eagle's Claw

Summary: Awesome kung fu movie

Wang Tao, Chi Kuan Chun, Ko Fei, and Leung Kar Yan in the same movie is a definite plus for me, all 4 men being my favorite kung fu performers. Interesting action scenes and superior character development make Eagle Claw a well rounded genre gem.

Summary: A Good, Solid Kung Fu Film

It's hard to go wrong with the combination of director Lee Tso Nam and action director Tommy Lee, particularly when combined with a solid cast and above-average script, even though the basic plot is standard school/revenge fare. Add two female fighters (including the lovely Hwa Ling), plus some excellent supporting players and fighters (like Leung Kar Yan). And what an amusing casting switch to see Got Siu Bo playing the doorman at the brothel! This isn't a great film, but I found it to be solid kung fu entertainment.

Summary: Poor

Not the worst kung fu film in the world, but not far off! This film is totally uninteresting, but it doesn't help that the only copy I have of this is dubbed! So sounds awful anyway.

Although I'm the first to review this, and when I usualy review something first I will do a big write up on it including story, but this is so bad I don't think it's worth it.

I reckon nobody in a million years would ever get around to seeing this one anyway, and that's a good thing. Poor story (from the dub anyway!), terrible fight choreography and countless filming mistakes!
