Summary
Completed in 1938 under the title of "March of the Guerrillas", the film was blocked by the censors who ordered cuts of over 2,000 feet of footage. The owner of the film, Yuen Yiu-hong, refused to do as ordered and decided to postpone the release of the film. The film was finally released in 1941 in a revised version under the title "Song of Retribution". (HKFA)
