The language for this should be Cantonese. The HKFA links shows the correct language (of course a Mandarin dub was made at the same time). The Shaw Brothers films at this time were being released with Cantonese for the local market (for a few years at this point).

It seems a bit odd how long it took for the folks there to confirm that the Dragon Dynasty DVD includes the wrong Chinese audio track (yet again). In fact, having read the last few pages of that thread, it appears no one has actually confirmed that the language heard is Mandarin. Most of the folks who have it seem unable to distinguish Cantonese from Mandarin, while those who can tell the difference don't have the disc yet. :| Is it a sure thing that the actual language heard on the DVD matches what's written on the package (i.e. both incorrect)?
