Comparing the Five Friendlies with mascots from prior Olympic Games they aren't too bad--especially when looking at the ones for the last two games held in the USA. There is even a nod to Tibet.

The Friendlies are so cute that they could send someone into a diabetic coma but at least they aren't as aggressively ugly as some.
