HONG KONG - Former actress Moon Lee Choi Fung's husband has filed for divorce, alleging that the star of the Mr Vampire movies had an affair with their godson, says Apple Daily.

Retired surgeon Dennis Law told the newspaper last Saturday that he went back to his apartment one day last year to see his godson, dancer Zong Tianyi, hiding half-naked in his closet.

He said his wife 'couldn't explain this, and my life couldn't go on normally'.

Law, 60, married Lee, 42, in 2001. They have an adopted six-year-old daughter. Lee has a 10-year-old son from a previous marriage.

The couple emigrated to the United States and began producing shows for the stage.

Zong, who Law said 'is not yet 22', is signed to Law's company.

Lee could not be reached for comment.

She has been in about 40 films, including Zu Warriors From The Magic Mountain (1983), Mr Vampire (1985) and Mr Vampire II (1986).

I wonder how she'll be portrayed because of this? There's such a double standard in the world today when it comes to this sort of thing, and "public" women seem to get labelled more harshly when they...indulge themselves. I suppose not having an active career in Hong Kong these days might blunt the impact for her...a bit. Yet I wonder if the situation were reversed if it would even be news...
