I browsed Mbdchina for some time a couple of months ago and I found there a LOT of mistakes, so I wouldn't completely trust them.
I haven't seen Sharphooters yet, but I think it is a telemovie because:
(sorry, I can't show the examples right now)
1) On some websites there was a list of TVB telemovies and Sharpshooters was one of them
2) Every shop I've seen sells Sharphoosters as a telemovie
3) I haven't met a series called Sharpshooters, and I worked on series info (and still work) a lot
4) On the cover of Sharpshooters you can see a silver sign that appears on every TVB telemovie cover, but not on series covers
A couple of the TV movies I've picked up on VCD have felt like they were distilled from longer series or mini-series, but I couldn't be certain as I don't watch the TV shows. Perhaps this is the case with Sharpshooters? If so, it's probably still worthy of inclusion.
I know that mainland chinese distributors often edit a whole HK (mostly TVB) series in one movie. The last case I've seen like this was two days ago - that was a series "Wing chun" starring Nicholas Tse, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao, that was edited into movie called "Shuang long ji". But you can see from the cover that Sharpshooters is an original TVB release. There is also another possibility. I know that HK series when they are released on home video even if the release is hongkonese and original, they are often edit a little the series. So maybe they are also edit a little telemovies.
Before I was 100 percent sure it's a telemovie. Now I'm 95 percent sure it's a telemovie, but I still think it's a telemovie
I intend to order Sharpshooters, but not in the close order
