I plan to split Katsu Shintaro

in 2 persons because I'm confident that the actor in the Taiwanese movies IRONIC HERO (see image), TRUST AND BROTHERHOOD, BLIND HERO FIGHTING EVIL WOLF, HUNCHBACK and BLIND SWORDSMAN'S REVENGE is a double of Katsu. He looks very close to Katsu and the name is in most of the credits but I see little differences and can't believe that a big star like Katsu plays in Taiwanese low budget movies.
In IRONIC HERO is a possible name for the double listed: Sing Lung ??:

Interesting find. My untrained eye says this is two different people, and it certainly makes little sense that the real Shintaro Katsu would be toiling away in Taiwan while still a major player in Japan.

I think they are the same person. The ears are the same. Also, in "The blind-swordsman's revenge" appear credited both Katsu and Sing Lung so they cannot be the same person. http://ipac.hkfa.lcsd.gov.hk/ipac20/ipa ... 1@!horizon

In the opening credits cast list of BLIND SWORDSMAN'S REVENGE is only Shintaro Katsu listed and no Sing Lung (in the Hong Kong Film Archive is a mistake?):

In the opening titles of TRUST AND BROTHERHOOD only the name Sing Lung is listed and not Shintaru Katsu. The name is also only listed as co-star among other names, the real Katsu would be listed more prominent.

If nobody objects I split the two names in the next 2 weeks.
