Wrong Chinese Name for Dai Gwok-Keung ?

Postby heinz Germany » Sat Apr 14, 2012 8:47 am

Came across that strange Family Name ? - which is only listed 4 times,
which has strong similtary with ? which has huge number of entries

Thus I believe that Dai Gwok-Keung is the wrong written Yau Gwok-Keung
http://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?i ... ay_set=eng ??? Dai Gwok-Keung

http://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?i ... ay_set=eng ???(1) Yau Gwok-Keung

and maybe Qiu Guo-Qiang ???(2)is even the same person, too

I dunno, Di/Dai is a valid surname. Maybe HKFA is wrong on this one.
Many search results for ??? + ?? (Emperor's Shadow). English sites, too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Emperor's_Shadow#Cast
Also, ???/Di Guoqiang has two additional credits in HKFA; added one to our db.

Maybe Di just not a 'lucky' name. Turned up a few additional Di surnames on a mainland video site: ???, ???,

And, according to one site, Di is #508 in surname frequency. (Compare to ? Lee, no. 4 and ? Yau, no. #151!) :D

They seem to be different people
Additional credits for actor/exec. director Qiu Guoqiang working in mainland TV/films/theatre:
