Added portraits and movie stills - including a handful of one of the most amazing and controversial action scenes in HK cinema history - the Moon Lee / little girl / speeding car stunt. I felt that breathtaking scene deserved more than one sample. I'm stunned every time I see this.

I left this actor (Cheung Gwok-Leung) blank for now because I guess there is a problem with his name, see post here.

FATAL TERMINATION is one of my all time favourites. That stunt alone makes it worth watching, but the film is packed with phenomenal (and crazy) action scenes: kung-fu, gun-fu, car-fu, etc. There were so many phenomenal action movies from that period that never get the attention of the Jackie Chan/Jet Lee-type stuff, and they're still not readily available on DVD because of it!

One of my big regrets is that I sold my LD of this film before realizing it was the only one I hadn't backed up to DVD-R. D'oh!!

Yes, the stunts in this one are simply amazing. Just look at that daredevil that jumps off from the container truck from approx. 13 ft., kissing the hard ground with his back with no cushioning or mats whatsoever. What did they pay these guys for actions that most likely put you in a wheelchair? Unbelievable...

Well, FYI, Fatal Termination has got an official German DVD release recently. Cantonese sound and German dub, but only German subtitles I'm afraid, certainly to prevent or at least complicate bootlegging. However, the German Board of Movie Censorship (FSK) had severe problems with Fatal Termination. It was demanded to be cut by more than 5 minutes, that including all the scenes of Moon Lee's little girl getting kidnapped and held by the baddies. For that reason, the distribution company released an uncut version of the DVD only through Austria, being labeled as "export version". It is lacking English subs as well, but anyone who considers of buying the DVD release nonetheless should strictly go for that version, marked as "uncut version" on the upper front. It also has the DTS logo, while the edited version has not.
