But I was rewatching the first half last night and it struck me that my little nephews (12 and 9 y.o.) would enjoy this a lot. What do you think? I'm not sure about Mr Funny Bones Strikes Again, though. A couple of the jokes are just a bit too adult (e.g., The, "Is that a jade statue in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" gag probably wouldn't go over well with the parents.)
So help, help Uncle dleedlee out. It not being too early for starting the old Christmas shopping list. What HK films would you suggest for the boys and a 14 y.o. niece (a very difficult age, let me tell you. A Nic Tse CD a couple years ago did not fly!)? I thought the Jackie Chan's Police Story box might be pretty good. (e.g., Action but not violent, Mommy doesn't approve of that. ) Actually, I'm not sure how they are with reading subs, so that's why when watching Mr Funny Bones it struck me as a very visual, sight-gag oriented film that might go over well.
Nominations are now open.
And sorry, for bringing up the subject of Xmas so early in the fall!
