there's definitely not too much hardcore action (not any in fact). However, since it's a special effects extravagenza, one shouldn't expect a high level of action. It's just not what the film is about.

There are so many movies based on the manga's...

..As to whether singer should be actors... I don't want to get into it.... it's a HK staple.....
I personally enjoyed this movie.....however neither wind nor cloud did for me as wuxia heroes.

I 'd like to see them make Stormrider's 2....but I doubt it will ever happen.

I know this to be true....but don't get me started...... It has nothing to do with difficulty....only laziness....and the mistaken belief that an American audience can't stay focused for longer than 90 minutes....'Hero' is a case in point.

I was unlucky enough to catch Fist of Legend on the IFC last night....it was dubbed..... and cut so much it was almost a different story..... I had to switch it off and put on my own subtitled version.

Strom Riders is one of the most overrated HK fllicks around. It was a boring movie, even with the CGI and the small amount of action. I still prefer Buddha's Palm (1982). Storm Riders did a good for its comic book renditions of blue haired super heroes, but the overly serious approach made it too silly at the same time, imho.

I'll see you a Holy Flame and raise you a New Tales Of The Flying Fox :D

But then again, I love Stormriders, so what do I know? ;)
