Can anyone ID this gambling film?

I myself have been trying to find a film title for a movie I saw in the late '70 early '80s. Possibly a Shaw Bros. feature. All I remember is it was a gambling comedy and a scene where the tuxedo-clad card player gets struck in the face with those throwing stars. There are three or four stars stuck in his face. Sorry, no reward, but heaps of thanks if anyone can ID this.
