Does anyone have Bey Logan's email address ?

I no longer have his exact email address because of a computer crash last year, but at least as late as 2003, he was connected to the Emperor Entertainment Group, probably due to his involvement in some of their films, including their breakout smash TWINS EFFECT, on which he served as associate producer. Somewhat surprisingly, he actually (at least at that time) reads movie forums from time to time, as evidenced by an email debate he undertook with me over some comments I made about his old movie magazine IMPACT, comments that largely dealt with how much warmed over press kit material the magazine presented as journalism. I also questioned the quality of his writing on GEN-Y cops. I'd made these remarks over at the Mobius forum, but we debated it all via email, where he corrected me as to his contributions to GEN-Y COPS, claiming he didn't author the infamous "pier" scene from that film, and at least admitted, somewhat to my surprise, that much of what went into IMPACT was, indeed, rubbish, but that it got him where he is today, which I suppose is working for a company that, like so many in the Hong Kong entertainment industry, is "allegedly" rooted in the triads. Apropos of nothing, really, it always amuses me that so many stars that once marched in solidarity against the triad infiltration of their business, including Jackie Chan, who's latest company is a joint venture with Emperor and whose questionably-talented son, Jaycee, is the latest "artist" on their recording label, see no problem dealing with the same element when it's gussied up as a powerful multinational. Then again, in a dollar-driven city like Hong Kong, where organized crime was, and to some degree is, one of the main reasons we even have these great films to watch, I suppose it, uhh, goes with the territory...

Anyways, if Logan is still working there, finding his email might be a simple matter of trying different combos for his name ("blogan", "beyl", "beylogan", etc.) with "@emp.hk" and see if one of the sticks or doesn't bounce back to you.

Unless someone else can provide the real deal, this might be the most viable option.

Glad someone was able to find it. I guess a career in the Hong Kong film industry is very rarely stable. I'll give the guy credit, though, he seems to have found consistent employment over the years.
