Check out the mainland film Far From Home. He plays a Guangdong restaurant owner who employes staff from all over China. Former Olympic gymnast Liu Xuan plays a young girl from Hunan who finds a job as a waitress there.

He's also good in Stephen Chow's FORBIDDEN CITY COP, and for a different kind of role entirely, try KITCHEN :)

He was fantastic in the movie 2002, where he played a sort-of mentor to Nic Tse's supernatural cop. One running gag has him jumping between his two stores, on of which is a funerary supply store, via a connecting passageway and donning a slightly different wardrobe to fool the customers.

He's also good as the hastily elected final governor of Hong Kong in Alfred Cheung's BODYGUARDS OF THE LAST GOVERNOR, althought the movie's political bite is soft compared to the director's earlier works.

And finally, he's got a funny supporting role in last year's OSAKA WRESTLING RESTAURANT, as an eyepatch-wearing rival restauranteur driven insane by the success of Wayne Lau and Timmy Hung's successful eatery across the street.
