Compare against an earlier list of Greatest 100 Chinese Films of the 20th Century:

Compiled at the end of 1999 by Asia Weekly, there were no films listed after 1997. Excepting that, I prefer the earlier list.

There was a lot of movie i didn't see from that list, so i can't say much. But the movie i did see, i agree with it greatly.

I actually prefer The Killer and Hardboiled over A Better Tomorrow (a very important film in Hong Kong though.)

Liked the inclusion of Summer Snow. One of Ann Hui and the late Roy Chiao's best films.

This was one of Roy's last films before his death and he is amazing in it! No wonder he won awards for it

and where are some of these titles? Yes, buried forever on inferious formats or lacking subtitles. Way to go. :(
