just saw casshern for first time, i am absolutley blow away. as i,ve not
seen many japanese live action manga movies, are there many more of
this calibre someone could recomend?

There's a live action version of Cutey Honey that I'm dying to see . There's also a live action Gigantor movie (Tetsujin 28 ) that might be out this summer. Looks like its more for kids, but the FX are impressive.

Plus the recent theatrical Appleseed Feature, while not exactly live-action, is the first fully 3-D animated feature and, quite frankly, it rocks. Just got the DVD last week and have spent hours just staring at all the detail!

The future definitely - and FINALLY - looks bright for live-action versions of a nearly endless list of classic anime shows.
