Deleted scenes - Legend Of A Fighter and The Big Boss

Does anyone know about the deleted 'fencing' scene in Legend Of A Fighter and the 'saw in the head/brothel' secne that was deleted in The Big Boss? Have you seen any versions with those scenes intact?

I believe there was quite a bit of violence cut from The Big Boss after its first theatrical run - as far as I'm aware there's never been a home video release that has it in. You can read more info here:

First I've heard of missing footage from Legend Of A Fighter... which release(s) have you seen? I've got the HKL but it's a long time since I saw it so I can't remember if there was any fencing or not...

Apparently there was a fencing duel scene that was cut from 'Legend...' just before its theatrical release. I have the HKL Region 2 DVD that shows his footage in an early trailer for the film. I was wondering whether there was any versions that had it................

It's pretty common for trailers to HK films to feature footage that never made it into the final cut... probably because it's easier for them to piece the trailer together from footage left on the editing room floor :p

Unlikely you'll get chance to see it in full, but stranger things have (occasionally) happened
