Love To Kill, should I get the HK VHS?

Postby Young Master » Thu Aug 25, 2005 8:49 pm

I just know where to get a HK VHS of "Love To Kill" (1993). Anyone think I should get the HK dvd or rare taiwanese dvd instead? All versions are so different to each other it seems like, I want the best! :x

hey,

none is the best but the Taiwan dvd is the most bearable. Don't know about the HK tape though. An explanation about Love To Kill's home video situation:

DVD is missing a close-up of Anthony Wong removing Julie Lee's panties in the Rape Scene, revealing her Pubic Hair. This Shot was included in the HK LD/VHS Version, but also shortened; however, that edit was butchered beyond belief, cutting even sexual dialogue. The theatrical release was also trimmed. CC's DVD's Cantonese track is mastered from that HK Print, resulting in double lines when previously missing scenes occur. The subtitled Taiwan DVD has all scenes intact except the rape, which is most complete on the HK DVD. Note: The DVD is sans subtitles. No 100% uncut version is known to exist.
