Desparate to find this movie! Please help...

Hi everyone

ok this is a long shot because i don't know the name of the movie or any of the cast/crew but i'm hoping my hazy memory of the storyline can ring a bell for someone.
it's a hong kong action movie from the 80's. the main characters are three hong kong cops (two guys and a girl) trying to bust a triad operation. i know i know that sounds like just about every hk cop movie but there are two scenes i can remember: right at the start of the movie a triad gets captured and is transported by plane into custody. during the flight an escape is attempted and a shootout takes place which results in a window getting shot out and the cabin depressurizing. i clearly remember the prisoner being involved in a struggle which resulted in his head being pushed through a window and his head freezes due to the exterior temp at altitude.
the other scene i can remember is the wife and kid of one of the three cops getting into a bmw which explodes when the wife tries to start it while the kid is waving to his dad...
can anyone please help?!! i'd really appreciate it...

No problem - it's a great film, one of my favourites If you've ordered the US release from Fox, be warned that it looks great but they've added new sound effects to "beef up" the action scenes, which can be rather distracting.

A great movie -- one of those classic HK action movies from the 80's that has a paper-thin plot but outstanding go-for-broke action. Plus Michael Wong has a very violent death scene
