I'm a cult film/horror fan, making dark, moody, electronic music.
I love films by John Carpenter, Dawn Of The Dead, Evil Dead 2 , Scanners. Starting to find good indie stuff from the U.S. and should be on a U.S. promo trailer shortly.

I'm trying to track down indie film makers in Hong Kong, so I can do some dark music scores for them.
I'm just across the water in Shenzhen, and would love to explore the industry there to see what i can find. Plus it would be great to find some creative people/artists to work with. Seems to be a rare thing where I am, especially in music/ dj ing.

Not enough people that love what they do.... there must be some!!

PS Are there are any good stores in HK you can recommend to pick up genuine ( I HATE fakes) western DVDs other than totally mainstream?

Their stuff's all legit and the shipping's reasonable. Probably even more reasonable for you! I believe they actually have a shop in the city somewhere. Perhaps the address is on the website, not sure.

Thanks, looks like a Flat rather than a shop. Customs here can be really picky. I have two harmless parcels stuck until I get someone to call up and explain I'm not an importer!! Tit for tat retaliation I think....

Know any good places to start to find indie film makers in HK? It's a big industry so they must be there. Finding a lot of good indie films (indie horror esp) in the U.S.
