Alex Fu Sheng?

Does anyone know what role he originally had in 8 Diagram Pole Fighter and how much the script had 2 be rewritten after his death? Also, does any footage of him in the film still exist? Please let me know

Yes, he's in the film - although not as much as first planned. I heard he was to be the lead, actually, but this seems unlikely given the fact that Lau Kar-Leung was in it.

From what I can recall, he's in it sporadically for the first half of the film. Then he has a bit of a funny turn and is considered pretty much insane - and disappears forever.

Thanx! Do you also know if the Yuen siu - tien footage from Magnificient Butcher (1979) still exists as I can only find a few pics of it?

Correction: I meant Lau Kar-Fai - although Lau Kar-Leung is in it obviously
