If you watch the film carefully then you will know that this must be Chan Tien Lung. His name is shown on screen when these two 'officials in the rain' attack Ko Hung when he is at home. Or am I wrong?

Is it?
If so, thanks! Again I have learned something.

But perhaps this alias (a.k.a.) is based on this film. Somebody tought he saw Tino Wong Cheung and read the name Chan Tien Lung and made it an alias?

I took some time to think this over.
When you have a good look at the actor who is on screen when the name Chan Tien Long appears (it's very hard to do), you will see that he is not Tino Wong Cheung.
So, if Chan Tien Long is an alias of Tino Wong Cheung then there is a Chan Tien Long (2).
Here's a portret I took of Chan Tien Lung. (Picture hosted by HongKongCinemagic.)

Both pictures show the same man, went back and checked, and ears and everything matches as far as I can see, and he also look like the other images in Tino Wong's profile, at least as far as my apprentice eyes can see :)

Yes, I agree he looks like Tino Wong Cheung, but I am not convinced he is Tino Wong Cheung.
My wife is very sure he is not Tino Wong Cheung. He is not handsome enough.

Sorry, that still I can't accept that Tino Wong Cheung = Chan Ti(e)n Lung.

May I ask, who made this an alias and what proof was found to make it an alias?

No problem, it's why the forum is here, to discuss :)

I don't know who merged the names, but in my eyes they look the same, take the image from the Champions (1983) which is the closest in time, that is the the same actor which is in The Miracle Fighters.

Yes they look awfully the same, but as with 'Yuen Cheung Yan' in 'King of Beggars', I can't get rid of the feeling that there's something wrong.
(Tino Wong Cheung looks rather tall in Miracle Fighters f.i.)

So if there was proof that the two names belong to one person, I could be sure that I am wrong and stop worrying.

Could this be a Yuen Woo-Ping in extreme pain? I haven´t seen Miracle Fighters yet though, so Im not very certain, and the ear looks weird.

It looks like the nose and ear are fake!
I think it's very hard to make an ID on this one.
Perhaps there's a shot when the man isn't disfigured?
