The Brave Boys and Emperor of Tibet

Postby happycat » Sun Jun 03, 2007 11:31 pm

Hi,

Can anyone out there give me an idea of credits, dates etc for two films for which I only have their translated titles. The films are The Brave Boys and the Emperor of Tibet. Both I think are mainland China films made in the 1980s or 1990s. Any help would be appreciated. much thanks happycat

happycat, do you have any other info, maybe an actor or director's name? A cursory search hasn't turned up anything.

Taiseng's site says there is a movie in two parts called "The Emperor of Tibet" 喋血大草原 starring Duo Ji and Pu-Bu Zhuo-Ma. Both actors also appear together in "Female Living Buddha" (1986) which could be an alternate title of "The Emperor of Tibet". :?

All I know of this film is that it is 155mins long - i was wondering if it could be Queen of Tibet the translation from pinyin to english having been confused? But I will check Taiseng's site as calros mentioned.

As to Brave Boys I still have no idea about it.

They are films that have come into our collection but the subtitling is not enough to help me sort it out.

Many thanks for your help.
