That's why I get suspicious when I see Criterion sleeve art on a Chinese disc. I just don't think that's kosher. If the content on Cal's disc turns out to be Criterion, then I'd say there's a zero chance it's legit. If it's a repackage of the old Mei-Ah disc, even that would seem suspicious, though less so. Yea, Criterion reps have stated several times that if you see any Chinese characters that should not be there (especially on non-Asian Criterions
), it is a boot. Of course, there are plenty of boots of OOPs like Hardboiled and The Killer (I have both a real and a boot with no asian characters of both Hardboiled and Dead Ringers so feel free to ask).
So don't buy the boots

). Frankly, I'd have though the buzz and the box office on the movie were strong enough that so much packaging gadgetry would have been unnecessary. But then again, that's the norm these days, really.
