Hi! I found myself appear in your Hong Kong Movie Database under the name ??? Ming Tak Fung, Sherwin, I must say you have done a good job in posting the actor database on the internet. Actually, I've done quite a lot of Hong Kong movies and some do have credits and some haven't, I wonder if I can give you more information about myself like movies I have participated or some images for the profile.

P.S. I understand there are lots of data you need to input and I would like to let you know that you actually have posted my image from "Bio Zombie ???? (1998)" on the page of ???Ng Ka-Wai (the middle image that i'm wearing the red soccer team uniform). It is actually me on the image :)

I am not sure who I should send to so I decided to post a new topic here, if anyone can help me, please let me know.

Thanks!!

Many thanks for your contributions and welcome to HKMDB!

I'd give anything if more good folks such as yourself would come forward to help us out like this! :D

By the way, I just saw ACCIDENT recently here in Toronto. Your filmography says you played "buyer". Is there any chance you can elaborate on this? (a tedious request, I know, but I won't have the DVD for a while and I'm curious because the movie is so fresh in my mind! :D)

Hi there! Thank you for your compliments :)

I noticed you have just watched the movie "Accident", if you remember the first "accident" was actually requested by me, when Louis Koo said "Collect Money", I was the one driving the GTR in the parking lot, and Lam Suet sent me an sms text "4951"(<----I don't really recall the exact number :p ) inform me which "spot" I should place the money in a car already parked in the lot. The surveillance camera was blocked by a ballon while I placed the money to Lam Suet's car, after that, I drove my car away. My role was an (employer or buyer) pay to kill the man on the opening scene.

I took some pictures on that day for your references :) hope you like it !!!

Very cool! (and thanks again!)

I was thinking it might have been that scene since the only "buyers" I could think of in the movie were the ones paying for the "accidents", and the other accidents were bought by people who don't look like you! This is, by far, my favourite Hong Kong movie of 2009. Everyone involved did sterling work. In case you're interested, it went over very well here at the Toronto Film Festival a few weeks ago, and Soi Cheang was very gracious with the audience afterwards, both inside and outside the theatre. Seems like he'd be a cool director to work with. Some reviews have noted the film is ideal for a Hollywood remake, which is true, but part of me hopes they don't! ;)

(now, if only I could get the gwailo programmers here to stop calling Lam Suet "Lam Sweat", I'd be doing something!)

I'm puzzled? The actor in Flash Point is you, correct? You're just saying that they cut your scene out of the movie? If it is you, I think we've made concessions in the past for including actors in deleted scenes (where known), although it's probably a very rare occurence. IMDB does it all the time, so as long as we specify (beside your name in the cast list) that your part was cut, it should be safe. If it's not you, my apologies for misreading your post!

Dear Gaijin84,

Thanks for posting the "Eye in the Sky " picture for me :)

Dear Brian Thibodeau,

The picture from the Flash Point wasn't me, they have cut that scene out, don't worry about it, it always happened. A good example will be the movie "I'll Call You", there was suppose a scene that I knew my girlfriend in the movie, there are lines (including saying my real name <-- requested by the director) and talked about my interest and so on, but the end, they decided to cut that scene out. I was quite disappointed but as long as they made it better movie, I really don't mind at all.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification! I think I misunderstood your previous post, thinking that you were cast and filmed a scene, but they cut it out (like the "deleted scenes" so common on DVD releases). Sounds like the scene was cut at the script stage, perhaps?

Hi Brian,

You were right! I was very disappointed when they decided to cut the scene out since I standby at the location for a week. I was assigned the role when I first arrived the set, I've helped out the movie for the entire week (as an extra) which they would not let me show my face since I've been assigned to that particular role, but after Danny Yan finished designing the fight scene at the "Tai Pai Dong" with some Japanese Martial artists, they think that it is too danger for the little girl's parents within the fight scene, so they decided to change the mother of the little girl with a stunt girl (the pregnant woman in the movie was the stunt girl) and they withheld my role, actually you will see me when the criminal threw that little girl and I was using my hand to cover my mouth and act really shocked. I uploaded a picture below showing how I supposed to look like with that role, I was holding Danny Yan's prop gun when I took this picture. So this is what happened with the flashpoint movie. But for the "I'll call you" movie, they filmed the whole scene and I expected they will put the deleted scenes on DVD, but there wasn't any special features related deleted scenes on the dvd...Well, I understand there will be a lot of changes with the final version of each movie but I still enjoy the moments in making these movies. Nice talking to you :)
