Beauty Parade isn't one of my favorite MP & GI films, but Kitty is easy on the
eyes, Lo Wei plays a highly atypical character (for him, at least), and it was
one of the few MP & GI films released on Panorama DVD listed in the HKMDb
that didn't have any images from the film.

Beauty Parade has a daunting amount of extras, and I at first felt guilty about
not getting portraits of all of them, but there's only so many hours in a day,
and it would have caused me to lose interest were I to grab as many shots as
as HKMDb image editor STSH did for The Greatest Wedding on Earth (1962)
at http://www.hkmdb.com/db/movies/images.m ... ay_set=eng . I really
wouldn't have the stamina. As it is, I amass multiple screen grabs of each
actor, and then weed them out until what I consider to be the best remain.

I guess this is a dry run for The Greatest Civil War on Earth (1961), though.
It's the only remaining five star MP & GI film that doesn't have images from
the film on the HKMDb yet. The Panorama DVD is hard to come by, so I only
have the Panorama VCD and the Hoker Records DVD. I'll be taking images
from the Hoker Records DVD, which is from Taiwan. Hoker Records DVDs
have a different onscreen menu than Panorama DVDs do, and different box
art.

I'll probably add images for Mad About Music (1963) first, though. It's not a
great film, but it's rare (part of 6-DVD set that came out only in Singapore)
and it'll be really nice to have pics of its star, Maria Ye Kwong (Yi Guang),
since she's quite attractive and has so far been represented by only six
images ( http://www.hkmdb.com/db/people/images.m ... ay_set=eng )
on the HKMDb. And more pics of Julie Yeh Feng is always a good thing.

Cool. I hadn't been aware of Lee Wan-Miu as being a different person,
I think.
