1. Fong Sai Yuk 2: first HK movie I saw in the U.S., thus remains my favorite<br><br>2. Once Upon a Time in China - the greatest HK movie ever made.<br><br>3. Storm Riders - just awesome & cool & doesn't try to contain gags.<br><br>4. Fong Sai Yuk - almost as good as part 2<br><br>5. Peking Opera Blue - excellent but little known movie. A must see; do not let the title bother you.<br><br>6. Barefoot Kid - the most flawless movie ever made<br><br>7. Fire Dragon - watched it over and over and want to watch more of it!<br><br>8. A Better Tomorrow - the only action movie to top my list<br><br>9. Handsome Siblings - one of my all time favorites, I can't say it has too much merit though.<br><br>10. Prodigal Son - excellent kung fu and cast.<br><br>11. King of Beggars - a Stephen Chow movie that focuses on the story and exploitates characters.<br><br>12. Dragon Inn - I'm still looking for a copy on DVD!<br><br>13. Saviour of the Soul - it gets better with every viewing<br><br>14. Future Cops - great example of the meritless action comedies that my friends love<br><br>15. Deadful Melody - made in the form of TVB series, but does much better.<br><br>I've seen about 500 Chinese movies and probably will see 1000 more when I have time.<br><br>
