Summary
  A spiritual love story set in ancient China. A sensitive scholar falls in love with a beautiful ghost -- but he accidentally releases a demon who, after centuries of captivity, must capture the scholar's ethereal lover to regain his evil powers, The scholar paints her portrait in which she hides from the demon.
