Biography
 
  Born in Shanghai in 1925 and died due to a heart attack in 1998.

Ho graduated from St. John University's Journalism Department in Shanghai. In 1958, on Raymond Chow's recommendation, Ho Joined Shaw Brothers where he held positions of Publicity Officer and later Production Officer. In 1970, he co-founded the Golden Harvest Group for which he acted as Vice-Chairman and was in charge of the production department. Many of the actors and directors he promoted later enjoyed international renown names like Bruce Lee, the Hui Brothers, Sammo Hung Kam Po, Jackie Chan, John Woo Yu Sum, Maggie Cheung and Anita Mui Yim Fong. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievements Award by the Hong Kong Film Awards posthumously.
