Biography
 
  Hwang Jeong-ri was a former Taekwondo instructor of the Korean Army. He is considered by many the most feared kicker in Hong Kong cinema history. After working in Hong Kong and Hollywood, he returned to Korea where he was still involved in television series and films. Eventually retired in 1996 after making the Korean film BOSS. He returned to the entertainment industry in 2009 playing Japanese swordsman Musashi Miyamoto on the Korean TV series RETURN OF ILJIMAE.



Older brother of fellow Korean martial arts actor Hwang Choon-soo.
